According to the Hockney-Falco thesis, advances in realism and accuracy in the history of Western art were the result of optical aids as the camera obscura and curved mirrors. We find this hypothesis fascinating: portrait painting becomes a half automated process in combination with human intuition and execution.

We came across Nested, a game like representation of the universe by the mysterious Orteil. Using the same tree like directory structure, we attempted to tell a collaborative story on life choices while growing up.

Inspired by The Whole Earth Catalogue, we made 4 stop motion animations with 4 players:
1 → leaving earth
2 → moon orbiting earth
3 → earth axis
4 → earth orbiting the sun
